Shauna may have been kicked off the Forrester estate on The Bold and the Beautiful, but her portrayer, Denise Richards, is still in the midst of sudsy drama. The actress gave an inside look into her new role on a nighttime drama!

Will Denise Richards Be Back?

In Miami, Florida, Richards posted a photo of her on a yacht where she’s filming additional episodes of the drama Paper Empire. As previously reported, Richards is playing Bently Fintch. the wife of Laurence Fintch, (Robert Davi), who appears to have lost billions in a “Ponzi Scheme” — appears being the operative word!

A follower of Richards asked why she has left BB for, presumably, this new series. The actress was quick to clarify her position on the half-hour show. “I didn’t [leave]! I’m still on the show.😊,” Richards responded. In fact, Richards went on to say that she’s not just still with BB, but there’s more meaty material with her character to come! “[L]ots of fun stuff coming up for Shauna,” the actress added.

Currently, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) are still trying to work their relationship out. And Brooke has both Quinn (Rena Sofer) and Shauna’s numbers, so she’s on guard. If Shauna sets out to pursue Ridge, she’s going to have a fight on her hands!

No word yet on when Paper Empire will premiere. The series cast includes, along with Davi and Richards, Steve Guttenberg (Three Men & A Baby), Michael Nouri (ex-Caleb, All My Children), Timothy Gibbs (One Life to Live), Robert Knepper (Transporter 3), Chuck Zito (Homefront), William McNamara (Doing Time on Maple Drive), Elisabetta Fantone (Big Eyes), and Helena Mattsson (Iron Man 2 and sister of General Hospital star Sofia Mattsson, who plays Sasha).

Paper Empire’s executive producer is Michael Tadross Jr. (LBJ) Bernard Salzmann (Capone: The Man That Knew Too Much) is the producer. Robert Gillings (American Fright Fest) is the writer and director. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
