Oh, Xander, you are so in over your head, 61% of the audience chortles. Do you not understand that Sami was scheming and stalling when you were still feeling sorry for yourself and dreaming of being a Kiriakis. Sami (Alison Sweeney) knows how to turn any situation to her advantage, and if you think you can outsmart her, well, you’re not very smart yourself, are you?
A smaller 30% of the audience has a high opinion of Sami, sure, but you also wouldn’t cut Xander out yet. The fact is, Sami’s schemes can be balls to the wall crazy, but Xander’s are more likely to be dangerous. Sami has a conscience once in a while.
She even kind of cares what Marlena (Deidre Hall), Roman (Josh Taylor), John (Drake Hogestyn), Will (Chandler Massey), Allie (Lindsay Arnold), and Rafe (Galen Gering) might think of her. Xander doesn’t have anyone like that in his life, now that Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) is gone. Which makes him ultimately more dangerous.
Only 9% give Xander the edge over Sami, due primarily to the reasons listed above. Plus, Xander is more desperate. If he can’t have love, then he wants money and lots of it.
