The DAYS spoilers recap for Monday, September 5, 2022, features some questionable costuming, questionable policing methods, some curious acting touches, and more.
Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) is stumped. He knows that he’s being framed for murders attempted and successful, but he can’t quite figure out who’d want to make a sweet little thing like him a fall guy.

The only hope that Leo has of clearing his name is getting Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) to identify the person who actually attacked him…but that’s going to take some doing.
Luckily, Leo has a Doris Day wig, some falsies, and some scrubs on hand. Why…we shudder to think. And though the disguise shouldn’t fool anyone, it’s good enough to get Leo into University Hospital and Sonny’s room. Only in Salem.
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) wants Leo brought in for questioning, and he wants it done NOW — and if he doesn’t get his way, he’ll settle for arresting Sloan Peterson (Jessica Serfaty); it won’t really do him any good, but it will tickle him.
For her part, Sloan does her utmost to fight for her client’s rights, but she does eventually give in and allows Rafe to follow her to Leo’s hideout. When they arrive too late to catch Nurse Wretched from stalking off, Rafe makes his frustration known.
Jennifer Rose Horton Deveraux (Cady McClain) has been struggling something fierce in the wake of her daughter’s brutal murder — not that anyone, her husband included, has noticed.
In fact, it takes Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) accidentally finding a bottle of pills in her bag for the truth to come out, and even then, she’s able to placate Maggie into believing that one meeting solved all her problems. Here’s an idea, maybe get the temptation out of the damn house instead of leaving it with an addict!
Will Horton (Chandler Massey) is back in town and really, really upset that his husband nearly met their maker…or something like that. He needs him to hold on, and receives support from his father-in-law, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), the latter of whom seems more upset that the husband of the victim.
Though his grandson is fighting for his life, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) has his priorities straight — the company always comes first. To that end, Victor appoints Alexander Neil Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) interim CEO and insists that he and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) get down to business — not funny business, mind you, but the serious business of getting the message out and cleaning up Titan’s image.
