DAYS Spoilers Recap Highlights

Since his wife is so gung-ho to figure out who kidnapped Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney), Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) finally broke down and admitted that it was Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) who committed the foul deed.

A Horton, cried Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller). A DiMera she could understand, but a Horton?! As in someone kin to Tom and Alice Horton? Well that just takes the cake!

But fear not Lucas – Abigail isn’t going to blow up your spot. For starters, she doesn’t want to see her uncle wind up behind bars…and Jennifer Rose Horton Deveraux (sometimes Melissa Reeves; sometimes Cady McClain) wouldn’t thank her for it. Secondly, since Chad also came clean about his involvement in the framing of his brother, Abigail isn’t interested in making her hubs pay for anything.

Meanwhile, adorable, long forgotten Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) chanced upon Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) making himself at home in the DiMera wine cellar. After briefly contemplating reenacting The Cask of Amontillado, Leo sets about convincing the wee one that he’s The Tooth Fairy…and no Thomas, not all fairies are girls; this is 2022!

Thomas buys what Leo is selling hook, line, and sinker, and agrees to both feed him and keep quiet about his presence. He does neither. Kids these days.

He’s been here all of a few days, so it’s time for Will Horton (Chandler Massey) to bid his nearest and dearest adieu. He will be back though – he promised and/or threatened depending on how you look at it.

EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) awoke from a sex dream featuring himself and Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison), and he wasn’t too upset by it. Later, Belle came upon a nearly naked EJ and wasn’t too upset by it.

Lucas is ready to pop the question to Sami, but before he does he wants Roman Brady’s (Josh Taylor) blessing. How 200 years ago of you, thinks Roman…though he is still impressed. The blessing is forthcoming.
