Leo Stark has very little reason to stick around Days of our Lives anymore. His mark – sorry, true love – has finally seen through Leo and left town. Leo’s mother, who he can’t stand, didn’t even bother showing up for his wedding.

Days of our Lives: Oh, Leo

John Black (Drake Hogestyn) isn’t his father, and the only person who can stand him, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) is on her way to the big house, after making a big, self-serving, self-pitying speech to Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) to rival the sob story Leo (Greg Rikaart) fed Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas).

Leo claims he’s only sticking around now in order to get revenge on the people who he blames for breaking up his scam – er, true love. That would be Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn).

Lame Attempt

So far, the best Leo, the master schemer, has been able to come up with, to stick it to Chad, is to get a story published where he claims Chad came onto him – which is true. Everything that Leo said in his story is true.

But…uhm…who cares? It’s 2022. Saying that an important business figure is gay is hardly going to lower stock prices, and since everyone in his family knows Chad was just trying to help out Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), Leo’s little plot had literally not a single consequence.

Days of our Lives: Try Harder

So Leo is a loser. But we know that. The bigger question is why Sonny and Chad ever thought they had to sink to his level. The two are incredibly rich. They could get Leo arrested on a trumped-up charge and have him sent to a prison adjacent to Gwen’s. That’s how the world works.

Not to mention, they have a real crime they can charge Leo with. He admitted, at his botched wedding, to having married Jackie so they could stay in the country. That’s immigration fraud. Chad, Sonny, anyone else who finds Leo annoying – just report him and be done with it. Unless, you actually want to keep Leo around?
