While EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) wanted to bask in the afterglow of their lovemaking, Belle (Martha Madison) busied herself with feeling guilty over having cheated on her husband. EJ, not surprisingly, had a justification for Belle’s actions. Belle, very surprisingly, declared that maybe, just maybe, she’s the one in the wrong.

EJ poo-pooed the notion, but Belle decided to punish herself, and EJ, by refusing to spend the night in his bed. But don’t worry EJ, Belle made sure to mention that it was only happening this time. She’ll be committing adultery with you again very soon.

DOOL Recap: Scheme Team

Something to note: Statesville apparently allows male inmates in the infirmary with female inmates sans supervision all the time. This is how Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) and Evan Frears (Brock Kelly) managed to do the nasty and conceive Shawn Christian Jr. and how Milo Harp, alias Orpheus (George DelHoyo), became wise to Jan’s scheme to pass said babe off as Shawn Brady’s (Brandon Beemer).

Evan is shocked, SHOCKED that his father would do something as underhanded as not tell him that he was a proud papa. Orpheus told him to get over it. He’s got plans, BIG plans in the works, and little Miss Spears is going to prove herself quite helpful.

Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Rose Horton Deveraux (Cady McClain) are facing life one day at a time, and they’re doing it together. In that spirit, they work to pick out the dress that their daughter will be laid out in since Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) can’t bring himself to do so.

DOOL Recap: Assigning Blame

Having caught Jan shoving her tongue down an uninterested, and frankly horrified Shawn’s throat, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) told her former tormentor all about herself. It went in one of Jan’s ears and right out the other.

Meanwhile, Shawn reminded Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) that the worst thing that he did was not tell Belle how far his sexual assault went, and Brady had to admit that it was his sister who was in the wrong. He made up his mind to tell Tink so, but Chloe cautioned him to wait until morning. Proving that he’s not as dumb as previously opinioned, Brady immediately deduced that Belle and EJ were most likely getting frisky.

Chad and JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) cleared the air between them, and the latter made it clear that he and the former were brothers. Aww!
