Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) is having a time of it. He’s investigating Abigail Deveraux DiMera’s (Marci Miller) murder, he’s down an officer thanks to Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) coming clean about a murder she committed, and he’s really, really worried that his fiancée might be having second thoughts.

Perish the thought, says Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). Not only does she still want to marry Rafe, but she’s beginning to rethink their decision to postpone the ceremony. Sure, it might be crass to wed two days after an acquaintance’s passing, but that didn’t stop Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Paulina Price Carver (Jackée Harry) – so why should it stop the two of them?

DOOL Recap: Pen To Paper

He hemmed and he hawed and he seriously peeved Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison), his would-be lover, but in the end, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) did sign the divorce papers that Sami Brady no longer DiMera (Alison Sweeney) so helpfully brought to him. He also wished Sami luck in her future endeavors – which include re-hitching herself to Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo). He wasn’t sincere nor did he sound it.

Days of our Lives Recap: What Difference A Day

A seriously blue Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) played the blame game and found himself guilty. Why couldn’t he have just packed the family up and flown them to Boston the minute Abigail suggested it? John Black (Drake Hogestyn) tried to make him feel better by remembering his own dead wife. Shout out to Isabella Toscano! It seemed to help, but only a bit.

DOOL Recap: Breaking Point

Call her overprotective if you must, but Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) is seriously concerned for Lucas’s wellbeing. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that he’s fallen off the wagon. Or, it may be because he can’t prove that he didn’t kill Abigail.

DOOL Recap: Missed Opportunity

First Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), then Kate, and now Roman Brady (Josh Taylor). They’ve all encouraged Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) to fight for Nicole, and after all this time, he finally decides to give it a shot…only to learn that she’s now Mrs. Rafe Hernandez. Talk about awkward!

DAYS Spoilers Recap: Where Do We Go From Here?
