The GH spoilers recap for Monday, June 27, 2022, features Valentin Cassadine gloating and Ned Quartermaine trying to explain.
GH Spoilers Recap Highlights
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was ready to celebrate and start spreading the news as soon as he solidified his spot as CEO of ELQ with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) as chairman of the board. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) even cast the deciding vote to keep things in the family.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was furious but Ned called him out when he said he didn’t care about ELQ, he only cared about his merger with Aurora. Michael shot back by reminding Ned that he had to take over ELQ when Ned decided he wanted to be a musician and a politician, in that order. He also reminded Ned that Valentin took over on his watch.
As Michael and Ned bickered, Drew grew furious when Aurora stock started to tank. Even Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) was furious with her father cause she faked a pregnancy and everything just to get ELQ back from Valentin. When Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) heard the news, she also laid into Ned.
General Hospital Recap: Carly’s Celebration Goes Awry
As visions of dollar signs danced in Carly Corinthos’s (Laura Wright) head, she had lunch with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) to brag about her insider trading deal and how wealthy she was now going to be. The three ladies talked about how fantastic Carly is and Carly reveled in it. However, she was perplexed when Valentin stopped by to order up the best food and drink for the evening.

When Drew showed up, Carly took one look at his face and wondered if she had lost everything forever. Drew pretty much told her to brace herself. Meanwhile, Carly’s son put in a call to Dex (Evan Hofer) and warned him that their plans are about to change.
GH Spoilers Recap: What About Willow?
Through all of this, the only two people to notice that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) looked like she had both feet in the grave were Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). They were able to brush aside Olivia chastising Nina for no real reason enough to offer Willow a chair when she showed up at the pool to rage about Ned.
When Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) appeared, she was even more outraged, because oh no, Michael didn’t get what he wanted, and no, she was not going to tell Sonny about his son, thank you very much. Despite practically spitting nails at him, Sonny was still nice enough to catch her when she looked like she was going to go head first into the pool, but fell backward instead. What could be wrong with Willow that a little thing like a blood relative can’t solve?
