The DAYS spoilers recap for Monday, July 4, 2022, features the leadup to Abigail Deveraux DiMera’s funeral…assuming that it, like so many other necessary scenes, doesn’t happen offscreen.
DAYS Spoilers Recap Highlights
Did Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) suddenly awaken in the cold light of day with the memory of whether or not he killed his niece? No? Too bad. That would have come in mighty handy when Will Horton (Chandler Massey) started to try to lay Abigail’s murder at the feet of the person who kidnapped Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney). Won’t it be awkward when Will finds out that that persona and his father are one and the same?
DOOL Recap: Agree To Disagree
JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) rarely see eye-to-eye at the best of times, but on the day that Abigail is to be laid to rest, the men are really at loggerheads. The bone of contention: Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). Even miles away and with concrete and iron bars separating them, that woman can still get the family’s goat. Luckily Jennifer Rose Horton Deveraux (Cady McClain) was on hand to smooth things over.
Days of our Lives Recap: Think Before You Speak
It took about five minutes, perhaps a new record even for her, but Anna Fredricks DiMera (Leann Hunley) managed to insert her very expensively shodden foot into her mouth. But magnanimous Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) forgave his aunt her faux pas of waxing horrific about his wife’s death.
DAYS Spoilers Recap: From The Heart
Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) has been asked to speak at the service honoring Abigail’s life, but she just can’t find the right words…as if there’s such a thing as a right thing to say at a funeral. With a little assist from Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), Kayla eventually gets there and winds up penning a tribute rivaling the obituary that Jennifer composed.
