Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) and Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) are about to swap vows — and not for the first time — but the groom-to-be has got a secret that’s weighing on him. Heavily.

Well, technically, there are two secrets weighing on Lucas, but it’s not like he’s going to tell his firstborn that he’s Sami’s actual kidnapper. Instead, he comes clean about his fall from the wagon. Will Horton (Chandler Massey) is understanding…ish. As is his wont, Will preaches the benefits of being honest, despite never being one to tell the truth unless it suited him.

As is also typical of Will, he went off and blew up someone else’s spot. In his defense, how was he to know that Lucas’s spiral coincided with Abigail Deveraux DiMera’s (Marci Miller) murder, that Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) would let slip the fact that Lucas knew that Abigail knew that he was Sami’s captor and that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) would be smart enough to connect the dots?

Speaking of Nicole, she may have just gone and stuck her foot right in her mouth and landed EJ in a whole heap of trouble…but that’s only the case if Sami did indeed overhear her guffawing over EJ’s tryst with Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison).
