The GH spoilers recap for Monday, July 11, 2022, features a romantic night of fireworks for Trina Robinson and Officer Rory Cabrera.
GH Spoilers Recap Highlights
The park was the place to be for much of the town to watch fireworks for the Fourth of July, which was delayed a week in real-time due to pre-emptions. Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Rory (Michael Blake Kruse) met up there and he gave her delicious brownies after she made sure they weren’t ‘special’ brownies. The scene was so romantic that they even kissed for the first time.
Of course, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) walked right in on the scene and saw them before promptly turning around. Before Spencer got to the park, Uncle Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) gave him a few warnings about Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Spencer assured Sonny he knew what he was doing and who he could trust and then asked Sonny to trust him. Sonny seemed to understand that Spencer plans to bring down Esme.
General Hospital Recap: Willow Spreads The News
Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) came close to telling Sonny about her pregnancy, but Michael Corinthos (temporarily played by Robert Adamson) seemed to stop her and she instead thanked Sonny for getting her to the hospital after she fainted. However, Michael did not stop Willow from telling Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) the news and she was thrilled. They then told Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), another thrilled family member.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) oddly stopped by to see Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and they discussed everything about their lives, including how happy Charlotte Cassadine is at school and how Nina is sick of being cast as the villain in everyone’s story. This prompted Valentin to tell her how she could fix that.

After Carly learned from her financial advisor that she couldn’t get a loan to buy back the Metro Court, Nina showed up to give her some news.
GH Spoilers Recap: More Port Charles Fireworks
Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) made some small talk about horses with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), who then went back to her place to watch the fireworks. Cody sparred some more with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), who decided to accept her match.
Britt already felt like a third wheel with Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), who had a semi-romantic time in the park. Austin did have some trouble with a phone call and told the person on the other end to leave him alone and that he was only in Pawtuck for one night of camping. Maxie later wondered what was on his mind, but he refused to tell.
