The DAYS spoilers recap for Tuesday, February 22, 2022, features the spouses Johnson putting a pin in Sarah Horton’s crazy in order to focus on an even crazier escape plan.
DAYS Spoilers Recap Highlights
The digest version of the story is that Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) is not herself. The unexpurgated version is that she’s under the impression that she’s, “the one and only Renee DuMonde.”
Now, the problem with that whole thing, is that Renee is deader than a doornail. Has been since 1983. Damn you Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis)!
Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) recognize that Sarah’s identity crisis is a real problem, but they’ve got a more pressing matter on their hands — namely, how does one get off this freakin’ island?
The trio thinks that they’ve hit on the perfect plan: they’ll pile into a kayak and flag down a passing boat. Sure, the odds are stacked against them, but the couple has been there/done that. However, they really should just cool their jets, and wait for the rescue party that is Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn).

Days of our Lives Recap: J’accuse!
Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) has some questions for his not so darling second-born…and he’s flown all the way from Boston to ask them. Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), are you now, or have you ever been responsible for an untoward fate befalling Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller)? Just kidding. We know the answer is yes. But Jack is easily manipulated, as you well know.
DOOL Spoilers Recap: Passing The Buck
Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) is in quite the pickle. She doesn’t want to see EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel ) rot in jail for a crime that he didn’t commit…but she also doesn’t want to see EJ DiMera freed if it means the actual culprit — who just so happens to be her son — will take his place in Statesville.
So, it looks like EJ will be staying put for the foreseeable future. Good thing he’s got Clyde Weston (James Read) on his side…and good thing for Clyde that EJ doesn’t remember that whole attempted murder thing.
