The DAYS spoilers recap for Wednesday, August 17, 2022, features an unexpected reunion, a stern telling-off, evidence piling up, and so much more.
DAYS Spoilers Recap Highlights
Milo Harp, alias Orpheus (George DelHoyo), is once again making himself a nuisance, and once again, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) floats the idea of killing him.

Despite the past always being prologue, Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) just can’t reckon with her man going all Dirty Harry on their mutual tormentor. She’s a heroine that way.
Still, it’s not all doom and gloom for Patch and his Sweetness — their baby girl is back in town…and as long as Steve doesn’t confuse her with an intruder and pump her full of lead, then a happy reunion will soon be had!
DOOL Recap: Relatively Speaking
With Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) somewhere else doing Lord knows what, it was Sonny Kiriakis’s (Zach Tinker), um, privilege (?) to get a ringside seat to his brother’s debauched lifestyle. He does not take as kindly to it as Maggie did.
In point of fact, he rakes his big bro over the coals for being all kinds of awful and makes several pronouncements, including that women never, ever, ever want casual sex with an attractive man. Yeah, right.
Days of our Lives Recap: Bowled Over
After flirting outrageously with Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and play acting a courtroom drama in which he’s the aggrieved party, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) makes it clear that he did not kill Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller). He is not believed. By anyone.
Opposite this, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) takes Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) on a tour of the tunnels that run beneath the DiMera manse. Surprisingly to Chad, Jada’s a bit put out that such a labyrinth exists, and that Chad so casually discusses the various Salemites who have been held hostage within.
DOOL Recap: Busted!
Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty), an attorney who apparently doesn’t actually exist since she wanted casual sex with Alexander Neil Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), comes this close to springing Leo from the Salem Police Department, only to have her efforts thwarted by the discovery of evidence that ties Leo to the murder. She’s further chagrined when her client finally cops to knowing the identity of Abigail’s killer.
DAYS Spoilers Recap: Bug Business
Speaking of thwarted effort, Alex’s attempt to sell Sonny that company that he swooped in and stole from him weeks earlier hits a major snag; Sonny’s no longer interested in acquiring it. This doesn’t work for Alex.
