Abigail (Marci Miller) has every reason not to trust or want to have anything to do with her older sister. There’s the time that Gwen (Emily O’Brien) drugged her into stupidfication. Not to mention the time that Gwen slept with her husband…that one still smarts a bit.

But despite all that, Abigail agrees to be Gwen’s matron of honor. It’ll make their fair-weather pops happy, and what’s better than that?

Look, she gets that her father is gay. She even understands that it’s not fair to ask Nancy to remain in a sexless marriage to a man that she can never again trust. But gosh darn it, Chloe just can’t abide Craig marrying that awful, awful Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart). Tough, says Nancy.

Chad shares said opinion with Sonny, which amounts to, I’d love to have ya back in Salem, but you’d better watch out because our companies are rivals and I’m a mean businessman.

DOOL Recap: Out With The Old, In With The New

Gwen and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) are getting hitched in one week’s time…and it makes Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) no never mind — she’s got bigger things to deal with, namely getting Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) into a specialist treatment facility in Florida. Xander’s real sad to hear that, but still riding the high of being engaged to his second choice.
