DAYS Recap For October 26: Leo Foils Chad’s Payoff Plot

The DAYS spoilers recap for Wednesday, October 26, 2022, features, Chad DiMera thinking he had Sloan Petersen where he wanted her, but then Leo Stark came along to ruin it all.

DAYS Recap Highlights

Chad (Billy Flynn) poured on the charm when Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) arrived at The Brady Pub to see if she was getting that payoff she asked for in exchange for keeping Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) big secret just that — a secret. Sloan was pretty curious as to why Paulina Price Carver (Jackée Harry) had agreed to hand over the money and Chad tried to impress her by showing her a bundle of cash.

Paulina had no idea what Chad and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) were really up to but was sure everything would work out fine, so she hired Leo (Greg Rikaart) in a more senior campaign role in a bid to give him a second chance that all con artists deserve. Leo was happy with a paycheck and promptly showed it off when he arrived at the pub and interrupted Sloan and Chad’s chat.

Sloan was happy to take his check as a downpayment on her services but when Leo whined he needed something to live off, she gave him some of that cash from Chad and Leo promptly announced it was counterfeit. Sloan warned Chad he better have the real deal by the next day and left.

Meanwhile, Stephanie had to explain herself to a handcuffed, underwear-clad Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) as she rummaged Sloan’s apartment for her oppo file. She made a quick getaway while Alex distracted Sloan after Chad texted her to get out of that apartment ASAP.

Days of our Lives Recap: Chanel Is Freaked

Chanel almost told Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) what’s been going on with her mother’s campaign and all that blackmail, but a text from Paulina telling her not to worry distracted her. Allie was still curious as to what was going on but Chanel made some excuses and ran to Paulina asking her what she should do.

Paulina assured Chanel that Stephanie was taking care of things and Chanel worried that her mother was putting too much faith in one person.

DAYS Recap: Wendy and Sonny Get An Earful

In Horton Square, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) got to know one another better as Johnny told her everything that happened over the last year — from his marriage to Chanel and his demonic possession to falling for Tripp Johnson’s (Lucas Adams) mother for a bit. At least Wendy was happy when Johnny told her he could stay with Allie and Chanel.

After Alex’s revelation that he had a threesome with Allie and Chanel, Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) had to know if this was true so he made a beeline to Allie’s apartment, ostensibly to give her a birthday gift from Ari. He managed some vague questions about Allie and Chanel’s friendship with Alex but then got right to the point and asked if the threesome really happened.

Allie admitted it was all true just as Johnny and Wendy walked in. Wendy was not impressed when Johnny got in some digs on his sister, pointing out that he has a colorful past himself. When Chanel arrived, they all celebrated Johnny and Allie’s birthdays with a Sweet Bits cake.
