Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) does his damnedest to convince Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) to take over the stewardship of Titan… Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) takes up a personal cause – revealing the role Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) played in Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) near conviction for police corruption.
Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) bemoans Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) current predicament – a regression to her grade school years – and the role Anna Fredricks DiMera (Leann Hunley) supposedly played in it… Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) tries to get through to Sarah to no avail… Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) confesses her complicity in Sarah’s regression to Ava who’s appalled.
A possessed Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) makes mischief at the Westons’ gender reveal party by tricking the assemblage into believing the cherry gel inside the all-important cake is blood. Afterward, she announces that the couple is expecting a bouncing baby boy.
Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) comforts a heartbroken Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens)… Belle Brady (Martha Madison) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) fill her father and his grandparents respectively in on Jan Spear’s (Heather Lindell) pregnancy.
Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) implores Nancy Welsey (Patria Darbo) to stall signing her divorce papers, but Nancy refuses to even entertain the notion and adds her Jane Hancock to the documents as planned… Sonny discusses Victor’s offer with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn); neither one are particularly thrilled at the idea of being business rivals.
Gwen asks Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) to serve as her matron of honor; Abigail agrees… Maggie decides to take Sarah to a treatment facility in Florida… Gwen reconnects with an old friend from Philadelphia – Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart)!
Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) and Nancy have a drink together and reminisce about the days of old; he asks her to attend his wedding; she hedges… Leo and Gwen catch up. The pair hit upon the perfect idea: a double wedding… Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) is once again asked to step into the breach – but he wants to know if Xander’s sure about going through with his and Gwen’s wedding; Xander answers in the affirmative.
Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) warns Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) against fraternizing with Ava… Gabi pretends to be an assistant district attorney, and her efforts produce a result – she’s handed a recording of Ava discussing her plan to frame Rafe for corruption.
Rafe gleefully places Ava under arrest… Nicole is stunned to find Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) serving behind the bar at the Brady Pub… Despite his better judgment, Xander agrees to marry Gwen beside Leo and Craig… Chad and Sonny think that they can acquire the goods on Leo, but it’ll necessitate them traveling to New York and confronting one Jackie Cox.
