She forget to mention that TR Coates (William Christian) was also gorgeous, smooth, charming, and, well, gorgeous. Maybe Paulina (Jackée Harry) didn’t notice the first time around. Or maybe he wasn’t any of those things then. But he is those things now. And it’s impossible not to notice. Will Paulina find herself falling for bad a second time? What almost 1,000 fans had to say about that possibility:
First Cut is the Deepest
It wasn’t even close, as 82% of Days of our Lives fans felt thoroughly confident voting, “Nope.” The wounds TR left on Paulina all those years ago run too deep, and the scars are still too fresh, even after decades. The man didn’t just hurt her, he ruined Paulina’s entire life. She was never the same afterward, not just having given up Lani (Sal Stowers), but in all her subsequent relationships. Paulina is too smart to ever get involved with a snake-like TR again.

On the other hand, 10% of the audience sighs, we suspect TR knows Paulina – and especially Paulina’s weaknesses, better than anyone. If anyone can push her buttons and turn that bold, confident woman into a victim… again, it would be the guy who messed her up in the first place.

And then there are the 8% of you who believe this woman is definitely protesting too much. She is obviously still attracted to TR, especially now that she sees who he can be. The man cleans up well. This is the version of him she always wanted in the first place – and now she can have it.
