The Days of our Lives recaps for October 24 – October 28, 2022, feature wistful villainy, wishful thinking, and so much more.
Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) tracks Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) to his lab and forcibly extracts a confession from him: yes, it was Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) who tasked him with conditioning Stefan O. DiMera (Brandon Barash) to hate her, but the idea originated with Li Shin (Remington Hoffman)! A distraught and distracted Gabi is set upon by her quarry, who injects her with a sedative and erases the memory of their conversation.
Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) is discharged from the hospital; she’s horrified to find that Kristen has moved into the family townhouse…Stefan offered a lovesick Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) a distraction in the form of a makeshift Caribbean vacation…Nicole Walker Hernandez (Arianne Zucker) retracted Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) pink slip. Later, the two were forced to slip into the role of model and photographer so that Basic Black might meet a pressing deadline.
Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) floats an idea Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) way: he distracts Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) with a briefcase full of funny money while she slips into the lawyer’s apartment and purloins the material that’s poised to make Paulina Price Carver (Jackée Harry) and Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) lives a misery; the plan is put into action; Stephanie is stymied in her efforts by the sight of a half-naked Alexander Neil Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) who’s cuffed to Sloan’s bed.
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) asks Chanel and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) to host Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace); they agree…Paulina employs Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), much to Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) chagrin…Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) feels the strain of his and Will Horton’s (Chandler Massey) long-distance relationship.
Johnny fills Wendy in on his colorful history…Allie informs a prying Sonny that she, Chanel, and Alex did indeed *ahem* enjoy each other’s company…Leo rumbled Chad and Stephanie’s plan to ply Sloan with fake cash…Stephanie let Alex in on her scheme; he covers for her when Sloan returns to the apartment.
Marlena and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) try to suss out Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) reason for offering Kristen housing…After catching Brady rooting through her things, Kristen taunts that she maintains the upper hand…Gabi and Li make love, but Stefan remains on her mind…Stefan and Chloe grow ever closer…Eric and Nicole are once more forced into the breach. This time, he snaps shots of her in lingerie…Chloe, Stefan, Holly Jonas, Li, Gabi and Arianna, and Brady, Kristen, and Rachel all converge at the Horton Town Scare event.
Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) donned a clown mask and took great delight in menacing EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel)…Orpheus (George DelHoyo) posted his victims each a box of chocolates and a haunting, taunting handwritten missive…Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) tried and failed to dissuade Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and Joey Johnson (Tanner Stine) from returning to Seattle…
EJ tried and failed to persuade Chad to return to DiMera Enterprises…Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) warned EJ that forces were amassing against him…Tripp suggested that Ava join him and Joey; she agrees. While bidding the late Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) adieu, Ava was confronted by her deceased youngest son, Charlie Dale (Mike Manning)!
