The Days of our Lives recaps for July 18 – July 22, 2022, feature a coterie of villains taking the town by storm and so much more.
Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) asks Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) to hypnotize Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) in the hopes of recovering his memories from the night that Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) was murdered; Marlena reluctantly agrees… Jennifer Rose Horton Deveraux (Cady McClain) assures Lucas that he’s not capable of killing Abby.
Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) proposes that he and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) should get married posthaste; Sarah concurs… Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) comes clean about knowing that Lucas was guilty of kidnapping Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney). EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) does not thank him. Instead, EJ issues an ultimatum – Chad and Kate must forfeit their shares in DiMera Enterprises or he’ll share what he knows with the SPD.
Marlena puts Lucas under; he recalls seeing Sarah beating a hasty retreat out of the DiMera manse… Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) hires Detective Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu). Jada’s first assignment: bring Sarah in for questioning… Will Horton (Chandler Massey) bids Salem adieu. The screenwriter is Hollywood bound… Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) meets her new cellmate – it’s Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk)!
Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) learns that Kate was wise to Lucas’s machinations; she bans Kate from her life as well as Henry’s… Sarah forgoes concluding her and Xander’s wedding ceremony… Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) provides Chad a shoulder to cry on… Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) asks Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) to marry him, for a second time; she turns him down, but offers a kiss instead. Allie spies the buss.
Milo Harp, alias Orpheus (George DelHoyo) sets about strongarming Governor Mitchell (Richard Bramhall) into pardoning him and Christain Maddox, AKA Evan Frears (Brock Kelly). Evan lets slip the plan to Kristen who wants in on the action.
Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) pleads Belle Brady’s (Martha Madison) case to Shawn Brady (Brandon Barash)… Chanel agrees to give Allie and Johnny an answer as to who she truly wants to be with…tomorrow!
In addition to Orpheus, Evan, and Kristen, Governor Mitchell pardons Gwen and Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (formerly William Utay, now Richard Wharton)… Rolf makes his way to the DiMera manse… Evan interrupts Shawn and Belle’s tête-à-tête to stake his claim on Shawn Christian… Kristen foists herself upon Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun)… Sarah swears that she never stepped foot in the DiMera mansion the night Abigail died; she’s released without charge.
