Days of Our Lives Recap Monday
In this Days of our Lives retro recap, it’s Monday, June 17, 2019, a day replete with romance and deviousness. Kristen DiMera made Ted Laurent’s life a living hell and Will Horton got exactly what he wants…for the time being at least.
It was an amazing day for Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smtih) and Will (Chandler Massey). The diary was found, the docs were working on an antidote, and they had hope for the first time in a while. Things were looking up and they decided to celebrate in the most romantic way possible.
With the help of their grandmothers, Will and Sonny put together a quickie wedding. This was not about pomp and circumstance. In fact, they didn’t even want to wait for their families. The vows were what was important, not the big to-do.
Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) put on her officiant hat, Ari donned her best flower girl dress, and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus), Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) acted as witnesses as Will and Sonny took their vows.
Meanwhile, Kristen DiMera found herself in quite a mess. She knocked out poor Ted (Gilles Marini) and was stuck dealing with the consequences.
As it turns out, hiding him was not easy, especially with Stefan O. DiMera and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) around. She went into serious damage control mode when she had Ted hidden behind the couch throughout an entire conversation about DiMera.
Speaking of DiMera, Abe decided to take the job. If for no other reason than to clean up the mess left by Stefano and his minions. He also did this in Lexi’s memory.
Back at the Kiriakis mansion, Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) had a go at Xander (Paul Telfer) over the diary fiasco. Where did he get it and why did he hide it? Xander explained he took it for his own sick agenda but could not bring himself to use it as blackmail bait when Will was dying.
Their conversation was cut short by a call from Kristen. She summoned him to the DiMera mansion to help her hide Ted. They dragged him through the dark tunnels and put him in a safe place with no escape — or so they hope.
