How Do You feel About This Faux Stefano Storyline?

Rafe, Steve, Paul and company are all in Prague searching for Stefano on Days of Our Lives.

Since learning the DiMera kingpin is allegedly alive, they headed off to find him and bring him back to Salem. It’s the one sure way to clear Hope (Kristian Alfonso) of murder and, hopefully, get her released from prison. Unfortunately, Anna’s interference has only hampered their cause and got Steve shot. Still, the gang is determined to track Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) down, no matter how long it takes. As the convoluted pursuit continues to twist and turn, Soap Hub asked how you feel about the story.

End It Already
A major 70% of fans want the story to end, the sooner the better. You find the whole twisted tangled plot to be tortuous and hard to follow. Plus, knowing actor Joseph Mascolo, who portrayed Stefano, has passed away has negated any excitement you might have had about the character returning from the dead. Obviously, it’s all going to lead to the DiMera patriarch’s demise, and this time it will be for real.

More, More, More
Some 16% of you find the search for Stefano quite entertaining. You have loved DAYS’ adventure stories dating back to the 80s and are thrilled to see so many of your favorite characters involved in this one. Plus, there’s something very important at stake here: freeing Hope. And you want that more than anything.

Take It or Leave It
The remaining 14% of fans are somewhere in between love it or hate it, regarding the hunt for Stefano. You say you could either take or leave the storyline. You like the fact that it’s brought Carrie, Austin and Anna into the mix. You’re enjoying having them all back, and you’re all for the end game. Namely, freeing Hope. But sometimes you wish there would be another simpler way to make it happen.
