Keeping Mum
When Julie’s rushed to the hospital, Eli ends up upset with Gabi. After all, it was her spat with his grandmother that caused the whole incident.
“Gabi doesn’t necessarily say anything to Eli [about Julie faking her attack],” says Banus. “She doesn’t want to put Julie on the spot, but Gabi knows.”
Later, Gabi visits Julie at the hospital, where the two women have another chat and put each other on notice.

“Eli is a great distraction for Gabi, right now,” explains Banus. “He’s sweet and good for her. When Gabi’s with Eli, she’s laughing and having fun and not thinking about Chad.”

And Gabi’s not about to let Julie take that away from her.
“Julie is kind of like a mosquito buzzing around and trying to bite Gabi, and she just wants to shoo her away,” sums up Banus. “Gabi’s not the kind of person who will let anybody tell her she can’t be with someone. She makes her own decisions.”
