Nobody really trusts Harris Michaels on Days of our Lives. He tried to kill Hope. But he was under Megan’s mind control then. Then he lied to Hope about Bo still being alive. That one is all on Harris. He’s currently persona non grata. But if he were to rescue Kate from Dimitri, would that be enough to slide Harris into the good guys’ camp?
Days of our Lives: Harris Michaels Has A Debt
You don’t thank someone for finally doing the right thing after choosing to do the wrong thing, and 10% believe helping find Kate (Lauren Koslow) is the least Harris (Steve Burton) can do. He’s got so many sins to work off, this won’t even be a fraction of it. Maybe in a decade or so, we’ll be able to forgive him. It’s not like he’s a Horton or a Brady. He’s not entitled to an automatic pass.
DAYS: No-Fault
Harris doesn’t need forgiveness, 30% aren’t interested in groveling. Megan (Miranda Wilson) admitted she was in control of his actions. Remember when Steve (Stephen Nichols) had a chip in his head with Stefano’s (Joseph Mascolo) memories? Remember when Hope (Kristian Alfonso) thought she was Princess Gina? Remember when Abigail (Marci Miller) beat a murder rap due to her split personality? The point is, if they all got to walk, so should Harris. No heroics are necessary.
Harris Michaels: Show Not Tell
Harris is earning his forgiveness of a daily basis, claim the remaining 60% of you. He eventually told Hope about Bo (Peter Reckell), leading to their reunion. (The subsequent shooting is not on him.) And now he helped look for Kate. He’s been a solid wingman to Steve, and he tried to stop Chad (Billy Flynn) from doing something stupid. He’s doing everything right. It’s about time he’s forgiven for what he did wrong without needing to die for it.
