Jan Spears stood up to reveal her pregnant belly to a gobsmacked Belle Black Brady on Days of our Lives, cooing that Shawn Brady is the daddy, which means they are all going to be one big happy family!

Belle (Martha Madison) put up a brave front of denial, but she ran home to share the news with Shawn (Brandon Beemer). If Jan (Heather Lindell) is telling the truth, what should happen to the little bundle of joy?

Jan is a nutcase who shouldn’t have any role in the life of an innocent baby, 46% of the audience decrees. The best thing for the child would be for Belle and Shawn to take it away and raise the dumpling themselves.

Sure, Jan had a horrible life, with neglectful parents, an abusive boyfriend, and a traumatic rape that turned her from bitchy prankster to mentally ill harridan. But, hey, let’s just take her kid. What harm could that possibly do?

The best thing for Shawn, on the other hand, would be for the baby to just disappear. He doesn’t want to put Belle through the awkwardness of raising her nemesis’s child, so let’s just put it up for adoption, 38% propose. That won’t have any negative effects on Jan’s mental health either.

DAYS Single Dad

If Belle leaves Shawn over this (he should have known he was having sex with the Devil-glammed-up Jan and not his wife — who would make such a silly mistake?), then Shawn should take the baby away from Jan and raise it himself, according to 16% of the voters.

It’ll be a piece of cake. Little Shawn-Douglas was raised solo by his “Papa” for a good chunk of his life, and they were an adorable pair of boat-dwellers. Shawn can take a lesson from Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and do the same!
