Poor little Jade has nowhere to go. She defied her parents one too many times, and after nearly getting Joey killed, she’s now a “Days of Our Lives” homeless girl.

Despite all her wrongdoing, it appears Jade (Paige Searcy) learned her lesson after Joey (James Lastovic) took a bullet in California. She realized her aunt’s commune caused trouble and returned to Salem ready to make amends with her family.

However, she has one problem. Her parents seem done. When her parents rejected her, Jade came running to Joey and it might be a good thing the Johnsons are so kind.

Out of nearly 4,500 votes, 62% think see Jade as an honorary Johnson. You can’t see Kayla leaving the girl to fend for herself. Yes, she caused trouble for her son, but Kayla witnessed her remorse. Remember, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) is the woman who saw scoundrel Steve (Stephen Nichols) for the good man he is underneath the eye patch.

A smaller 25% of you think Jade should learn to fend for herself. You don’t want the Johnsons taking her in and feel they won’t. Jade now has a hard lesson to learn. You can’t keep playing with fire and not one day get burned.
