On Days of our Lives, Sami Brady almost Horton’s twins, Johnny DiMera and Allie Horton pushed Chanel Dupree to choose between them, so, finally, she did.

And she chose Allie (Lindsay Arnold). Johnny (Carson Boatman) got all huffy. What should the dejected director-wannabe do now? Over 2,000 weighed in on this dilemma.

Plenty of fish in the sea, 38% of you dismiss. And how seriously were we really supposed to take this great love of theirs, anyway? It was a whirlwind courtship after only knowing each other for a few days, followed by Johnny being possessed by the Devil.

When he got himself back under control, Johnny wanted Chanel (Raven Bowens) back, but she’d moved on with his sister. We’re tempted to think that Johnny was more put out than he was in love. He’ll find someone else to obsess over soon enough.

And if he does, 36% add on, he can use his new girl to make Chanel jealous. After all, just because she said she didn’t want Johnny anymore, that doesn’t mean Chanel wants anyone else to have him either. It’s OK for her to move on.

But she would really like it if Johnny were to sit in the dark, curled up in a ball, crying bitter tears for missing her so. But if Johnny decides not to play that, let’s see how long it takes for Allie to start seeming not as interesting as she first appeared.

It was pretty close all the way around, as 26% of you are urging Johnny to fight for the girl who got away. He needs to make her see that the feelings she had for him in Italy are still there and that their divorce wasn’t his fault.
