Jada did everything she could think of on Days of our Lives to, first, convince herself that her sister Talia Hunter wasn’t involved in Paulina and Chanel’s stalking, and then to protect her. But the truth is the truth, and now she’s had to arrest her.

Talia (Aketra Sevillian) is, quite possibly, the guiltiest party of all since she was the one who committed the crimes, while Colin (Jasper Newman) just pulled the strings. (Well, until the great, rooftop confrontation.) So should Talia get the book thrown at her? Soap Hub asked DAYS fans prior to her arrest if she really deserved it. Here’s what you had to say.
DAYS State’s Evidence
Nobody wants to put Talia in prison. She’s related to someone the good people of Salem like. Everybody wants to put Colin in prison. He’s related to someone the good people of Salem hate. So all Talia needs to do is testify against Colin, and she can skip along on her merry way, 11% suggest. That’s how Salem justice works.
Talia Hunter: Innocent Days of our Lives Victim
How many times do we have to explain this, 29% sigh. Women are not capable of thinking for themselves. Any bad thing a woman does, it’s because she was manipulated by a man. It’s the same thing here. Poor, innocent Talia had no control over her actions. She had no choice but to poison Chanel’s (Raven Bowens) biscuits, try to seduce her boss, or lie to her sister. Just give her a hug, or, at best, a slap on the wrist.
DAYS Law Breaker
Enough with the excuses, 60% are fed up. Talia committed crimes. Talia should be arrested and tried for those crimes. Let a jury of her peers decide what her punishment should be. It’s still Salem. She’ll still get off. But, at least then we can pretend the rule of law was followed. And it’s not just because Jada (Elia Cantu) is her sister, and the Mayor’s wife gets to decide who gets arrested and who doesn’t.
