Since high school, it seemed Belle and Shawn were just meant to be on “Days of Our Lives.” Despite a marriage to Philip, Belle ultimately chose Shawn in the end and we thought they’d have that happily-ever-after with daughter, Claire.
For a while, that’s just what seemed to happen. As far as fans new, they were living in wedded bliss away from the trials and tribulations of Salem. Who knew Belle had grown bored with married life after her daughter grew to a teen that didn’t need her as much anymore? Well, Shawn finally knew after she had an affair and things haven’t been the same since.
When the pair arrived back in town with Claire last November, divorce was on the horizon and Belle decided it was time to play. When things with Chad (Billy Flynn) went south fast, she picked right back up with Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier), but couldn’t get her ex out of her mind. This week, old passions arose and Belle and Shawn ended up right in bed, but Soap Hub wanted to know if they should reunite for good.

Every marriage goes through rough patches, and while cheating is never the answer, it does sometimes happen. You already know Martha Madison and Brandon Beemer will be off the DAYS canvas soon and you want them to leave together, with Belle and Shawn happy with each other once again.
A smaller 9% of you think it’s time for these two to call it quits for good. Sometimes high school romances are not meant to last a lifetime and you think this is the case for Belle and Shawn. You can’t see how Shawn can forgive Belle’s various indiscretions over the last half year and wish he’d wise up and bid her one last final goodbye.
The final 8% don’t even care. Knowing they’ll be gone soon, you have very little investment in the characters and think their love story played out years ago.
