It’s always fun to see how someone responds when they are caught off guard in a positive way. Recently, Days of Our Lives cast members were presented with photos of their younger selves, and their reactions were wonderfully genuine.

Everything Was in Focus

On DAYS’ official Instagram page, several actors were asked to sign photos of themselves at a younger age. The pics blew away all of the cast members, and each often chuckled with large grins on their faces. Stephen Nichols’ (Steve) photo showed him posing while wearing an open shirt, exposing his bare chest. He held the pic up to himself and quickly raised and lowered his shirt, asking, “Check me out. Still the same?” The person who asked him to sign agreed, and he remarked through giggles, “I’m not taking my shirt off right now.”

Greg Rikaart’s (Leo) photo was a school-aged version of himself with a large bouffant. “Oh God,” he stated, then held it up, saying, “Some things never change. The higher the hair, the closer to God.”  He couldn’t get over the image muttering, “Brutal,” and then asked, “We’ve all had that year, right?”

A Photo Finish

Elia Cantu’s (Jada) photo was of her as a little girl, and she held her hand over her mouth in shock. Daniel Feuerriegel (EJ) immediately laughed out loud at his high school pic, “Senior year. I was probably 16 then. Doesn’t get better than that.” Robert Scott Wilson (Alex) was also shocked and agreed to sign his pic, stating, “Don’t sell it on eBay. Probably not worth that much. Or anything at all.” Then he scrutinized it closer, reading, “This is from 2000…” Wilson stopped and gave the person the side eye, asking, “Where’d you get this?” He then joked, “I’m not even gonna sign my name. I don’t know who this guy is.”

When Abigail Klein (Stephanie) saw her younger photo with a bun on top of her head, she said, “What?!?” She then jokingly signed, “Sun’s out, buns out.” Jackée Harry saw her photo and remarked, “Who is this? Oh, I used to be so fabulous,” while signing and faking crying. Carson Boatman’s (Johnny) reaction to his grade school pic was, “Oh my gosh! Where’d you find this?” Judi Evans (Bonnie) and Mary Beth Evans (Kayla) were also suitably surprised to see their early headshots, with the latter calling hers “Ancient.”

In the post, Feuerriegel quipped, “I look EXACTLY the same. EXACTLY 😬.” Co-stars Cherie Jimenez (Gabi), Julie Dove (Connie), and Tamara Braun (Ava) all chimed in that they loved the video, with Klein jokingly scolding, “Sneaky @dayspeacock 👏🏻🥰.”
