A lot of soap actors have moonlighted for other projects over the years including Christmas films and horror movies among other genres. But sometimes an actor just wants to support their friends who are pursuing projects, and Days of Our Lives star Dan Feuerriegel, who plays EJ on the soap, is one of them. He recently used his social media platforms to help promote a cool werewolf film.

He Had a Howl Lot of Fun

While it doesn’t appear that Feuerriegel has anything to do with the new horror film Werewolves, he certainly helped promote it by posting several pics on Instagram and writing, “Unleash the beast! 🐺 ‘WEREWOLVES’ is now out, and my LA family is rallying around the incredible @katrinalaw as she takes on the canine chaos. If you’re up for a thrilling ride featuring practical effects ( amen ) and led by the powerhouse 💪🏻 @frankgrillo1, this is your film fix for the weekend. Don’t miss out on supporting independent cinema—grab your tickets and experience the puppy adventure! Kudos @stevencmiller 🔥.” (Learn about Feuerriegel’s hacks for California weather.)

In the pictures, Feuerriegel stood with stars Frank Grillo (Tulsa King), and Katrina Law (Arrow), as well as the film’s director, Steven C. Miller (Silent Night, 2012), and several others. Miller appreciated the praise, responding, “Wow. Thanks so much!!” One fan honored the cast by replying, “Can’t wait to see it! Love Katrina, met her at a few comic cons and always so so nice. And I’ve been a fan of Frank’s since he got his start on Guiding Light, a NY soap!”

A Hairy Situation

Many fans sent lots of heart and applause emojis with one writing, “Looking forward to seeing this.” Feuerriegel also shared the same post on Facebook, and one follower replied, “Congrats to Katrina, hope it’s a box office smash.” Another fan asked if he was in the movie, but there was no response. However, for an actor of Feuerriegel’s stature and prominence in the soap world, the film’s gotta be pretty good to get his endorsement.

Law also shared some of the pics that Feuerriegel did, along with several others that had him in it that fans hadn’t seen, captioning them, “Who saw @werewolvesmovie this weekend?!?!?!?” In her post was a video where Law, Feuerriegel, and several others involved in the movie did a funny dance as they walked in front of a giant Christmas tree, clearly brimming with excitement over the new werewolf flick. (Find out what a typical soapy morning is like for Feuerriegel.)

Without realizing it, one fan gave a positive review of the movie with the response to Law’s question: “ME!!! I really enjoyed it…and…uh…that scene…underneath the vehicle…😳🫣.” Now we know we HAVE to see it!
