After Sarah admitted that she was starting to recall being run over by a hit-and-run driver on the September 6 episode of Days of Our Lives, Fiona made a horrible choice that could reveal her as the driver. Plus, Brady slipped through EJ’s slimy fingers.
Red Rover, Red Rover, It’s Over for Fiona
Xander (Paul Telfer) tried to get Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) to continue to recall what happened to her on the night of the accident that paralyzed her. She remembered seeing the car coming at her, and while she couldn’t clearly see the driver’s face in her mind, she felt sure it wasn’t Brady (Eric Martsolf).
Fiona (Serena Scott Thomas) asked Xander to go and get Sarah some food, but she had other things on her mind than her daughter-in-law’s well-being. At the end, once Sarah fell asleep, Fiona did the unthinkable and grabbed a pillow intent on smothering her! The scenario could play out that Fiona succeeds in killing Sarah and then just throws her hands in the air, saying she didn’t know what happened and why she died.
However, since there have been no reports of Godfrey exiting the show, it’s safe to assume that Fional fails. That being said, if Fiona gets caught trying to off her, there will be hell to pay. Either Xander or Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) will call the cops, or she’ll be banished back to Scotland. What transpires next is anyone’s guess!
EJ’s Lost Again
EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) and Brady have had an antagonistic history. EJ had done some horrible things to Brady’s family over the years, including having the young Black beaten up in 2009. In 2011, Brady turned the tables and beat up EJ, and everyone in Salem helped cover it up. Now, the district attorney has been using his position of power to prosecute Brady for the accident. Still, Justin managed to talk him out of it because of Brady’s sketchy memory, and his car went missing.
Brady walked, but EJ was not happy about it. Although Brady’s been beating himself up over the incident, feeling that he should be punished for his crime, nearly everyone finds it hard to believe that Brady would hit Sarah and flee the scene. Even John thinks there’s more to the story than anyone realizes. If Fiona is outed as the drunk driver, Brady’s going to breathe a sigh of relief, although he’ll probably be sad to lose his friend with benefits. (Learn about some of the worst things Brady’s done.)
