Days of our Lives Preview: Ben and Ciara’s High-Stakes Reunion

It’s happening… Finally. After being led to believe Ciara was killed in an explosion on Days of our Lives and mourning her loss, then starting to receive messages from his “dead” wife in his dreams, followed by an actual SOS phone call from her, Ben tracks down and finds the woman he loves.

The Plot to Kill Ben

The action begins with Evan (Brock Kelly) preparing to kill Ben (Robert Scott Wilson). As far as he’s concerned, it’s the perfect payback for Ciara (Victoria Konefal). After all, she’s the one who uncovered he killed Jordan (Chrishell Stause) and set in motion Evan being convicted of the crime. What better way to pay back Ciara for ruining his life than to make her suffer by taking away the man she loves? So Evan concocts a plan to off Ben.

Another Hostage and A Gun Shot

However, while Evan plots murder, Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Ben team up to track him down. They’re both certain he has Ciara and is holding her captive. They ultimately find Evan, but when Shawn and Ben burst in and surprise him, the surprise is on them.

Evan has taken Claire (Isabel Durant) hostage and is holding a gun on her. A struggle ensues, a shot is fired, and someone gets shot. However, in the aftermath, Ben ends up the one holding a gun on Evan, who’s now forced to cooperate with him.

Ciara Found, But Is She Alive?

Evan has no choice but to succumb to Ben’s demands. Namely, lead him to Ciara. He does just that, but when Ben arrives on the scene, he fears he may be too late to save her. An explosion has erupted inside her glass room prison, and he finds Ciara beneath a pile of rubble and unconscious.

Ben frees Ciara from the debris and takes her in his arms for the first time in months. He’s thrilled to discover she’s still alive and breathing. While no words are spoken between them, Ben and Ciara are finally reunited in a bittersweet moment. Then Ben rushes her off to the hospital. Will he make it there in time to save her? Stay tuned.
