Days of our Lives fans rejoiced when it was revealed Ciara is still alive. Now she can come back to Salem and pick up where she left off with Ben (Robert Scott Wilson). On the other hand, long-time soap fans know that a happy couple is a boring couple.

In the pantheon of bad ideas, this is right up there, a landslide 94% of the audience fumes. Ben and Ciara will have plenty going on with all the trauma they’ve been through, Ben thinking she was dead, Ciara fighting to come back to him. What? This isn’t dramatic enough for you?

In that case, they can go on the hunt for the man who did this to her. Mr. and Mrs. Weston against the world! This will be just like when Ciara’s mom and dad, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Bo (Peter Reckell) went on the run and had adventure after adventure while falling even more in love. You don’t need a third party when you’re a supercouple. And Ben and Ciara most certainly don’t need Claire to remain interesting.
Bring It On
Only 6% of you are willing to entertain this idea. But only if Ben and Claire fall in love before Ciara returns. She’s reeling from Charlie’s (Mike Manning) secrets coming out, and Ben is still at loose ends months after Ciara’s disappearance.
We understand why they’d be drawn to each other, and why they’d even find comfort in each other. We understand that it will be difficult if – when! – Ciara returns.
