Days of our Lives Biggest Stars Want You To Follow Them To Peacock

Days of our Lives is planning to leave NBC and will air exclusively on the Peacock’s premium streaming service starting on September 12, and the soap has brought out the big guns to try to encourage fans to follow them there to their new home.

Days of our Lives — A Big Move

Deidre Hall (Dr. Marlena Evans Black) started things off saying, “So I’ve been on Days of our Lives for more than 40 years now, and you can’t be a part of something that long and just call it a job. We’re a family. As our loyal viewer, I consider you to be part of that family. As you may have heard, Days of our Lives is going to air exclusively on Peacock. Let’s make the transition together.” She then mentioned all of the different Salem families. “We love you, and we’re grateful for your ongoing support.”

With each new social media post, including a short video with Galen Gering (Rafe Hernandez) and onscreen wife, Arianne Zucker (Nicole Walker Hernandez), fans are reminded to act quickly: “A special $1.99 per month offer (for 12 months) begins on September 1 for a limited time. Terms apply.” That is a substantial saving over a year from the usual $4.99 fee per month.

James Reynolds (Abe Carver) talked about the changes soaps have undergone over the decades and about how we’ve all been through these changes before. “Soaps are about relationships, and the one we have with you means the world to us,” he concluded.

Then today, Peter Reckell reached out to fans — right from the Kiriakis living room — making us wonder if we’ll soon be seeing his character Bo Brady back on the show since Beyond Salem opened that door.
