Claire Brady may be in South Africa with her former boyfriend Theo Carver right now on Days of our Lives, but don’t look for her to return anytime soon in the guise of her former portrayer, Daytime Emmy winner Olivia Rose Keegan. The actress is staying busy and now is set to join the DC Universe in a brand new pilot.
Olivia Rose Keegan Joins Gotham Knights
Deadline broke the news that the rising young star has been cast in the CW pilot, which “picks up in the aftermath of Bruce Wayne’s murder, with his rebellious adopted son forging an unlikely alliance with the children of Batman’s enemies when they are all framed for killing the Caped Crusader.” Keegan will be playing Duela.
Described as “abrasive, unpredictable and a little unhinged, Duela is, above all, a survivor. Born in Arkham Asylum and abandoned by her father – the most dangerous man in Gotham – Duela forged herself into a brutal fighter and skilled thief.”
Olivia Rose Keegan is no stranger to playing an unhinged character. After all, during her run on DAYS, poor Claire lost her mind, tried to kill her aunt Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal), who was also her best friend. The actress has been staying very busy since checking out of Salem back in 2020.
She worked with director/co-executive producer Kimberly McCullough (ex-Robin Scorpio Drake, General Hospital) on High School Musical: The Musical — The Series as Lily. She’s also filming a couple of episodes as Caroline in the 12-episode mini-series Daisy Jones & The Six, which follows the exploits of a rock band through the 1970s Los Angeles music scene as they seek fame and fortune. Elvis Presley’s granddaughter, Riley Keough, stars as the titular character.
