1. His British accent is for real. Newman is originally from South East London, although he currently lives in Los Angeles.

2. Newman started acting in secondary school (what they call high school in the UK). He was 15 at the time and eager to learn all he could about the craft.

3. His passion for acting never waned as he got older. He attended MidKent College for two years working on Shakespeare, Artaud, and Stanislavsky. Newman followed that up with two years at University in London, refining his skills and working on Brecht-style theater.

4. Newman isn’t all work and no play. He loves sports, specifically extreme sports. Two of his favorites are motocross and snowboarding.

5. He moved to Los Angeles in 2014, realizing it was the place to be to advance his career. Since arriving, he’s studied the Meisner technique in the Advanced Program at The Acting Corps with respected teachers like Eugene Buica and Sydney Walsh.

6. Newman’s claim to fame pre-Days of our Lives was the role of young Glenn Summerford in the HBO documentary Alabama Snake. Released in 2020 and based on a true event, it tells the story of a Pentecostal minister accused of trying to kill his wife with a rattlesnake.
