Abe has been a lone wolf for too long on Days of our Lives. Now that the crises with Lani’s (Sal Stowers) and Eli’s (Lamon Archey) babies has finally been settled, isn’t it time for him to focus on his love life? Which woman would be right for the Mayor of Salem?
A majority 61% are still rooting for Abe (James Reynolds) and Valerie (Vanessa Williams) to find their way back to each other. They worked when they were together, and the only reason they split up was that she had a wonderful job opportunity out of town.
She was right to take it. But Abe would be right to go for a long-distance relationship. He can fly out to see her whenever. It’s not like we’ve ever seen him work on any actual Mayoring business.
Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Abe sparkled some serious chemistry when they worked together, and 22% of the audience wants to see that taken up a notch. Her fling with Jake (Brandon Barash) is obviously a short-term thing. What with Gabi (Camila Banus) chomping at the bit to steal him away.
And she and Abe are more evenly matched, anyway. They will both keep each other on their toes, call each other’s fouls, and support each other when nobody else will. They have the potential to be the next Tom and Alice Horton!
Paulina (Jackée Harry) is new in town, which is why only 17% voted for her to be matched with Abe. She does seem fun – if prone to putting him on the defensive. Considering the way she swept in to proclaim herself Jules’ godmother, we’re sure that if she decides she wants Abe, she’ll just take him. He doesn’t get a vote. Not like you.
