What is a hot young man to do when he falls in love with the greatest guy in the world – and then his gorgeous yet supposedly late husband might be returning from the dead? This is a current quandary for Sonny on Days of Our Lives (DOOL).
Sure, he and Will (Chandler Massey) were on the outs when Will was supposedly killed by Ben (Robert Scott Wilson)], but that doesn’t mean that Sonny (Freddie Smith) didn’t still love him! However, he did have to learn to live without him.
Enter gorgeous and wonderful Paul (Christopher Sean). Yeah, Paul sort of came between them when Will was still alive but hey – bygones! Paul at least understands the history and was more than willing to help Sonny move on. They even got engaged and were supposed to marry!
That is until Ben interrupted the wedding to say that one of the grooms was still married to someone else – meaning Will is still alive. So, which man do fans think Sonny should choose to spend the rest of his life with?
Where There’s a Will…
After almost 4,000 votes were tallied, a whopping 65% think Sonny should remain faithful to the vows he took a few years ago and pick up where he left off with Will. They finally have that second chance to work out their issues – if they just keep their eyes on the prize.
Love the One You’re With
But a strong 35% are still Team Paul. After all, their love is far more adult and mature than the love shared between Sonny and Will. Paul has proven that he will stick by Sonny’s side no matter what – and hey – you get free private investigative work as a bonus. Who in Salem couldn’t appreciate that?!?
