With Gabby Gone, What’s Next for Stefan on Days of Our Lives (DOOL)?

Gabby’s gone and Abigail wants nothing to do with “her” man, which makes you wonder: Does Stefan even have a future on Days of Our Lives (DOOL)?

Since joining the cast as newfound DiMera, Stefan O., Tyler Christopher has posed a constant threat to supercouple Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abigail (Marci Miller). Abigail’s alter, Gabby, helped things along by falling hard for the suave villain and even had sex with him.

Now that she’s vanished and his mother Vivian (Louise Sorel) is seemingly dead, Stefan’s like a lone island in the sea; totally alone.

Yet he’s sticking around, which means the show’s scribes must have some tricks up their sleeves regarding Stefan’s future, right? Here are some ways DAYS could utilize him moving forward.

In the “let’s hope they don’t” department, since it’s already been done about 5,000 times, is that old tried-and-true soap plot. Abigail ends up pregnant, since she slept with Chad and Stefan within days of each other.

The mentally fragile Abigail would have to contend with the possibility of carrying Stefan’s child, while Chad struggles to be supportive despite his intense hatred for his brother. This twist could also allow Gabby to resurface, if Stefan refuses to back off, clinging to the hope he might forever be connected to Abigail.

New Man, New Woman
The revival of the Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) and Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) romance hasn’t exactly set the screen on fire, probably because that story has already been played out. But what if Stefan entered the picture as a possible new man for the single mom and songstress?

Chloe could find herself intrigued by the powerful DiMera, throw caution to the wind, and allow herself to get involved with him.

Christopher and Bjorlin, two pros with plenty of sex appeal, might sizzle together. Plus, the move would finally put Bjorlin, once one of the soap’s most popular leading ladies, back on the storyline forefront, a place she hasn’t been in years.

Power Player
Forget women, at least for now. Stefan sits at the top of DiMera Enterprises, which means the show could go the corporate mogul direction with the character.

Perhaps the DiMera/Kiriakis feud of yesteryear could be reignited with Stefan determined to take down Victor (John Aniston), Brady (Eric Martsolf), and company.

The move would force Chad and Kate (Lauren Koslow) to choose sides. And, in the end, only one clan would triumph as the super family of Salem.
