Is Days of our Lives taking place in 2020, or 2021? With the time skip, it’s hard to tell. One thing for sure – they’re not having the same 2020 as the rest of us! Their lives are going on as usual – no masks, no lockdowns.

Days of our Lives Polling

So we can focus on important things, like who is your favorite Salem couple of the moment? Almost 4,000 viewers let us know their picks:

Bad Boy, Good Girl

It wasn’t even close, as a winning 47% of you chose Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer). Whether they are breaking and entering or figuring out who lied to whom about whose baby is alive (that would be Xander to Sarah), this is the couple that gets your vote!

Shelle We Dance?

A much smaller 15% of Days of our Lives fans went with Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Belle (Martha Madison). You were so excited for their wedding. Now you’re just hoping they try again more successfully.

Going Old School With John and Marlena

Shawn and Belle are babies, 11% of the audience counters. If you want a real super-couple, you’ve got to look at Belle’s mom and dad, Marlena (Deidre Hall) and John (Drake Hogysten). They’ve been to death and back, then picked up where they left off without a hitch. Everyone in Salem should be taking a lesson from them!

Up and Coming

Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abby (Marci Miller) are the next generation, 10% of you add. They’re the future of romance in Salem – no matter which face Abby is wearing at any given time.

Parents To Be

Only a couple of votes separated Chad and Abby from Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey). Kind of like Lani and Eli are separated now – over Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) of all people!

Remember When

Maybe more than 7% would have voted for Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) if they had something more romantic to do than argue over Tripp (Lucas Adams). We’re waiting…Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
