Days of our Lives fans saw both Isabella (Belle) and Shawn-(Douglas) born onscreen. We watched them grow up. Well, we watched Shawn-D grow up. Belle went upstairs a toddler on Friday and came down a teen Kirsten Storms (now Maxie on General Hospital) on Monday.

But we watched them all through high school, through the quad that eventually produced Claire (she was assumed to be Philip’s for the first years of her life), and through all the drama and angst that came afterward.
Now, we mostly see them when there are cases to be tried – Belle, and bad guys to be apprehended – Shawn. Or when their daughter tries to kill someone. More than once. Should Belle (Martha Madison) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) stick around Salem for good now that they’re getting remarried? What over 3,000 had to say:

Of course, they should stay, 82% of the audience says while wondering how there could be another answer to such a question. These are two legacy characters from four core families; the bigger question is how could they possibly not stay?
Belle was beating herself up over not being there for Claire (Isabel Durant) when she went cuckoo. You know how you can be there for Claire, Mom and Dad? You can be… there. In Salem. Stay and parent! And other stuff…
