Isabel Durant has had to play some heartbreaking scenes as Days of our Lives’ Claire Brady recently, dealing with the loss of her Aunt Ciara and trying to prove to her family and friends that she’s ok after being released from Bayview.
Isabel Durant: Memories Bring Peace
While Claire tries to rebuild her connections, the Aussie actress herself understands how having deep connections in life is important. Durant took to social media to post a sweet message honoring the important people in her life.
“Grateful for the people in my life,” she wrote. “The words they’ve written, the love they’ve sent and the memories we’ve shared.”
The actress posted a photo to her Instagram showing some of the notes and letters she’s received from friends and loved ones through the years, explaining how much they meant to her during this crazy time we are living in.

“It was the middle of lockdown here in LA when I came across a bundle of letters, cards and love notes I’d kept over the years,” Durant said. “At a time where physical human connection wasn’t possible the words of my loved ones from all over the world, spanning the years of my life permeated my heart and reminded me that even though nothing beats a cuddle, there is a deep connection built through written word.”
She credits her “hoarding tendencies” with allowing her to relive these special moments, noting keeping everything has paid off “big time.”
Here’s hoping Claire finds that same amount of love from friends in Salem and that she’s able to reassemble the pieces of her life. Perhaps the healing crystal Jan gave her this week will work, or maybe she’ll make some loving memories with Charlie when they follow through on their planned date. Stay tuned!
