Now that Abigail Deveraux DiMera has been declared dead (note we didn’t say is dead, because that never happens in Salem), DAYS spoilers are pointing to her widower, Chad DiMera, needing to find a way to go on with his life.
DAYS Spoilers Speculation
And who better to help with that than Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) — the woman who picked up the pieces the last time Abby (Marci Miller) was believed deceased. Will Gabi stop mooning over Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) to go after the brother she’s wanted all along?
Days of our Lives: Ancient History
Nah, 52% of you dismiss. Sure, Gabi was obsessed with Chad (Billy Flynn) back in the day. But that was before she met and fell in love with Stefan O. DiMera (Brandon Barash) — and realized she could do a lot better. After Stefan’s death, Gabi fell for his twin brother. Sure, Jake is currently bedding Ava Vitale (Tamara Braun). But Gabi knows how to bide her time, and Chad is just a speck in her rearview mirror.
DAYS Spoilers: Helper Bee
Last time, Gabi stepped in to help Chad with Thomas. Now he’s got two kids to take care of — and no clue about how to do it. If Gabi starts playing Mommy to Chad’s little boy and girl, then 33% of the audience figures something could ignite between them again. In the end, it seems many believe Chad is basically lazy. He’ll fall for whoever is there.
DOOL: First Love
Only 15% believe that Chad is the man Gabi still wanted even while she was with Jake — and Stefan. After all, she and Chad are childhood friends. Chad knew the Gabi she used to be, the sweet girl who existed before everyone mistreated her.
And she went to prison. The first time. And the second time. Chad can be prodded into remembering that Gabi again. And into loving that Gabi again. Maybe that’s all she needs to become that girl again.
