The DAYS spoilers recap for Tuesday, January 25, 2022, features Ava Vitali and Gwen Rizczech wondering how you solve a problem like Abigail Deveraux DiMera, Rafe Hernandez fearing that his goose has been cooked, and EJ DiMera casting aspersions on his baby brother’s character.
DAYS Spoilers Recap Highlights
In regard to dealing with Abigail (Marci Miller), there seemed to be two options: kill her, or hope that the rock Gwen (Emily O’Brien) knocked her upside the head with made her forget ripping that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) mask off of Ava (Tamara Braun).
Gwen wasn’t about to get involved in yet another murder, and she wasn’t keen on leaving her fate up to chance. Enter Ned Grainger (Chris Kalhoon), that money-mad, unscrupulous pilot. He offers to take Abigail off the girls’ hands…but for a steep price.
After squaring away that little inconvenience, Ava sprinted back to Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) – nondescript dessert in hand – and came upon a most pleasing sight: her boyfriend being hauled away in cuffs. Looks like her plan to see Rafe punished for cheating on her with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) has beared fruit.

Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) still can’t comprehend why Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) turned on EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) – as if a DiMera has ever needed a good reason to betray someone.

When she pushes the issue, she’s further stymied by Chad’s explanation. Why would EJ assault Abigail and risk alienating the one person on his side? I wouldn’t, swore EJ until he was nearly blue in the face. Perhaps Chad was mistaken? Misguided? Prone to lying? Either way, what baby brother is saying isn’t true.
DOOL Spoilers Recap: Mask-uerade
Could she…would she…no surely not. Surely Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) can trust that Gwen didn’t don his ex’s visage and break his heart for a second time. Surely. Well, it wouldn’t hurt to ask and make double sure.
