The DAYS spoilers recap for Thursday, December 30, 2021, proves the old adage that hell hath no fury like a woman scorned…especially if that scorned woman can get her hands on a pair of scissors.

DAYS Spoilers Recap Highlights

Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) tried, she really tried to be a good girl. But there’s only so much that she, and any normally reasonable person, can take. She forgave Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) tonguing Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) right out in the open…but there’s just no way that she’s going to forgive cheating, especially when said cheating took place on cheap office furniture.

[Side note/question: Will Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Chloe Lane (Naida Bjorlin) ever learn that it’s highly inappropriate to discuss their co-worker’s sex life in their shared workspace? It’s truly the stuff HR nightmares are made of.]

Ava’s anger and her quest for vengeance are totally justifiable, and her straight-up assassination of Duke the Bear was a public service. Now, how to properly distribute the teddy’s head, and torso, into her enemies’ beds?

DOOL: Problem – Solution

If there’s one thing that Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) can agree on – and literally, they can agree on only one thing – it’s that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is all kinds of awful and that he needs to be taken down a peg or two…or five (and yes, technically that’s two things; sue us).

So, even though Chad is almost certain that Lucas is playing him for a chump, he also can’t pass up the opportunity to use the conveniently uncovered “evidence” concerning EJ’s guilt in Sami Brady DiMera’s (Alison Sweeney) kidnapping to his advantage. The much-anticipated outcome? EJ is out as co-CEO of the family company, and Chad is now (solo) big man in charge.
