Days of our Lives Star Martha Madison Appears in Phoenix Rising

Days of our Lives fans enjoy watching Martha Madison as savvy attorney Belle Black. Now, they’ll be able to see the Daytime Emmy nominee in another show, which, coincidentally, shares a title with an iconic DAYS character.

Martha Madison Stars In Phoenix Rising

“Since 2012,” Madison shared on Instagram. “I’ve worked with an incredibly talented group of women who have inspired my creative side and allowed me to perform alongside some of the most talented people I know. This Saturday…we will do it again! I hope you’ll join us.”

The full name of the show in which Madison appears is called Phoenix Rising: Rebirth, Redemption & Revenge. The company she performs with is called The Carnival Girls. Madison will be playing the character Gwen.

Tickets can be purchased by clicking here. Attendees will get a link where they can tune in from anywhere in the world. The show is this Saturday, April 17 at 7 p.m. EST / 4 p.m. PST.

Madison made her debut as the daughter of legendary supercouple John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) in 2004. She played the part until 2008. She returned to Salem in 2015 and has appeared as Belle on and off ever since. In 2019, Madison and several DAYS co-stars, including Brandon Beemer (Shawn), appeared in the DOOL app digital series Last Blast Reunion.

The story reunited Belle, Shawn, Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson), Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), and other characters from the “Last Blast” era from DAYS (hence the show’s title). The story also brought back Jan Spears (Heather Lindell), who was obsessed with Shawn as ever.

The characters returned to the NBC serial after the Last Blast Reunion ended. Belle and Shawn remarried much to Jan’s chagrin. Madison was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 2019 in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actress. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
