As viewers of the Days of Our Lives digital series, The Last Blast Reunion learned in last week’s penultimate installment, there was both good news and bad news. In the final episode, dropping on Thursday, viewers will see how the mini-series climaxes!
Days of Our Lives Danger Alert
It appeared as if Kevin (Chadwick Hopson), Mimi (Teressa Liane), Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), and Belle (Martha Madison) had all been killed off, but viewers learned that all of those deaths were the figment of the creative imagination of Jan Spears (Heather Lindell), who had not been invited to the Last Blast Reunion. (Susan Seaforth Hayes, who plays Julie, spoke the truth when she wrote once that in Salem “many are killed, but few are buried.”)
Jan revealed her plan to Shawn, who was her prisoner, tied to a bed, just as he had been years earlier when she kept the young man in a cage. With the other Last Blast-ers oblivious to Jan’s scheme, she was welcomed to the tail end of the reunion. Granted, they were guarded by her presence. When last they heard, she was in a coma, after all!
Jan brought with her a cake decorated with the words “A Last Blast for the Last Blast Crew!” Unbeknownst to the attendees, Jan’s cake contains some “explosive” ingredients that just might wipe everyone out for real!
Belle (Martha Madison), we’ve already seen, is clearly apprehensive in Jan’s presence. (Ya think?) She’s somewhat concerned Shawn hasn’t picked up his phone to answer her calls. Will Jan succeed in blowing up her former classmates?
Or will somehow Shawn escape Jan’s prison once more and save the day? There’s buzz that there were will be subsequent Last Blast Reunion digital series on the DOOL App just as there were multiple chapters of Chad and Abby in Paris. But, first, the Last Blast gang is going to have to survive!
