New York 2019 has become Days of our Lives and Salem circa 2003-04 in that characters are dropping like flies. The latest victim in this mini-killing spree, as viewers saw in last week’s episode of The Last Blast Reunion on the DOOL App was Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin)!

In this next installment, dropping today on the DOOL App, Belle (Martha Madison) is mourning her late pal and finding solace in the arms of her former husband Philip (Jay Johnson).
Meanwhile, Belle’s true love Shawn (Brandon Beemer) is staying occupied with Mimi (Teressa Liane). Time will tell what’s going to happen with Shawn and Mimi, but it’s clear in some images that Soap Hub has received that Belle and Philip might be so grief-stricken that they will become intimate.
Shawn and Belle are divorced, but they have reunited romantically while in Hong Kong. But as emotions are riding high, anything can happen! Will Shawn and Mimi (affectionately referred to on occasion as “Meems”) walk in at an inopportune moment?

If this story continues in the direction it’s been going in, are there going to be more victims? Are these characters that have been killed truly goners? Or might they pop up on Melaswen (AKA “New Salem”) the way other beloved favorites did all those years ago after they’d been done in by the Salem Serial Killer? At first, viewers thought saintly Marlena (Deidre Hall) was the killer culprit, but it turned out to be a DiMera hoax.
