Days of our Lives Star Alison Sweeney Takes A Trip Down Memory Lane

Days of our Lives actors Alison Sweeney and Bryan Dattilo have been working together for almost three decades, and fans have loved the ups and downs between Sami and Lucas, whether they are friends, lovers, or enemies.

Alison Sweeney Looks Back

The two share two children in Will and Allie, and now are grandparents to Arianna and Henry, so they will forever be linked, and that’s perfectly fine with both daytime stars.

Sweeney took to her Instagram to share two photos of the pair — one from when they first started on the show and the other from recent times when Sweeney returned to the show.

“I have always had such fun working with @bryan.dattilo !! 28 years later, some things never change,” she wrote. “Still laughing between takes and grateful to have such a talented, supportive costar.”

Comparing the two photos between now and yesteryear prompted Sweeney’s co-star Mary Beth Evans (Kayla) to chime in.

“[H]aven’t changed a bit,” she responded to the post. Others who weighed in included Cameron Mathison (All My Children’s Ryan and recently announced General Hospital cast member) and Kate Mansi (ex-Abigail, Days). And of course, plenty of Lumi fans responded positively to the photos as well.

Now that Sami and Lucas have shared a sexy night together — again — does this mean that the exes are headed back down the romance aisle? Rumors are swirling that Sami’s husband, EJ, may be making his return to Salem soon (though with a new actor), so we might be in the makings of a familiar love triangle in the months ahead.

Sweeney is obviously loving her time back on the set and concluded her post with a big thumbs up to the show and NBC, adding some hashtags for memory lane and grateful.
