Days of our Lives Video Preview: Sami and Lucas Have Sex?

Sami and Lucas go from friends zone to sex zone, this week on Days of our Lives. The surprise romp is set in motion by an innocent heart-to-heart between the former couple that suddenly turns steamy, and ends up with them ripping each other’s clothes off.

Frustrated by her relationship with EJ, Sami (Alison Sweeney) opens up to her trusted ex, Lucas (Bryan Dattilo), about the state of her marriage. It isn’t what people might assume it is, nor has it been for a long time. In fact, it’s in a serious state of trouble and cracking on every level — including sexually.

Sami Spills All

“He doesn’t touch me anymore,” bemoans Sami, fighting back tears as she reveals the sad truth. She tries desperately to hold herself together but is overcome with emotion. Sami is clearly at the breaking point.

Lucas listens intently, while Sami pours her heart out to him; her pain totally resonating with him. He’s touched that Sami trusts him enough to share her innermost thoughts and secrets. Lucas is warm and comforting and offers Sami his encouragement and support.

Lucas Steps Up

“You’ve done everything you can for that man,” says Lucas, referring to how Sami has stood by EJ’s side since she discovered he was alive, albeit severely burned from being trapped in an explosion. She helped care for him during his many plastic surgeries and nursed him back to health as he slowly recovered.

Sami falls into Lucas’s arms, and they embrace, their years of friendship and familiarity providing her with the perfect landing spot in her hour of need. It leads to a loving lusty look between the twosome as they lean in for a lip lock. But it’s quickly followed by a moment of hesitation.

Sex with an Ex

“What are we doing?” asks a befuddled Lucas before committing to what’s about to go down between the two of them. “I don’t know,” purrs Sami, leaning in for a passionate kiss.

After that, there’s no turning back. Lucas’s shirt comes off, and he strips down to his boxers. Then, he seductively takes off Sami’s blouse. The ex-lovers and former spouses head to the sack, someplace they haven’t been together in years. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
